Cauliflower cheese, Crisp sandwich

Another good day today. I got up early enough for breakfast and had a great day at work. A fantastic evening meal and then off out again.

Breakfast - 2 slices of wholemeal toast and a glass of orange juice. Quick but very effective and kept me going for 4 hours.

A quick breakfast

Lunch on the run was a great British crisp sandwich ! A fantastic invention that provides a tasty snack in less than 2 minutes. The filling can be crisps of any size, shape or flavour. The more butter you get on the bread the easier it is too eat !

A Crisp Sandwich

Tea

Now after providing myself with two very easy and not very nutritious meals my wife decided to take things in to her own hands and make tea. What a belter it was, Home made cauliflower cheese with roasted potatoes and branston baked beans. A real treat. The cauliflower was grown by myself and my wife made the cheese sauce from scratch and it was all cooked and frozen back in August.
In the depths of winter, what a ray of sunshine this meal was. The vegetables we grow ourselves are far superior to any that can be bought. Photographs of my vegetable plot can be found here http://www.m6jdb.co.uk/ . They seem to have a better flavour and texture even after freezing and reheating !

That looks like a very delicious tea snack. I might even be tempted to eat it for dinner!
