Sunday day trip to llangollen

What a great day. Up early and out the door with just an apple and a banana for breakfast.
We went on a family day trip to llangollen and what a great day we had. It was over cast and a bit windy but we had a great time on the steam trains and a fabulous picnic.
That is a picture of my wife and children enjoying there picnic of, chicken sandwiches, cheese sandwiches, crisps, chocolate, quorn scotch eggs and some cans of Pepsi max !
What a feast.
We had another ride on the steam train and by then the sun had come out and we had a walk down by the river with doughnuts and ice creams !
We had a great time and the kids really enjoyed it.
When we got home the little ones were a bit peckish so we had some macaroni cheese for supper.
In all honesty it tasted even worse than it looked in the photos and i didn't eat much at all !

Super Saturday

Super Saturday started off with a fantastic breakfast of tinned plum tomatoes, beautiful bacon and four slices of buttered toast with lashings of hp sauce !
Beautiful !
I think i skipped lunch or may of had a packet of crisps, but anyway.
We went to bridgnorth in the afternoon to do some grocery shopping and we bought a large hot pizza and a couple of portions of chips with lots of salt and vinegar on. We walked to the castle grounds and parked ourselves on a bench to enjoy our feast.
Like all good citizens, we sat down to watch Britains got talent and tucked into a bowl of profitor roles with hot chocolate sauce.
That wasn't enough for me and i also had an ice cream mars bar before bed.

Bad Friday

Well Friday was a bad food day, a great work day but a bad food day  :)
It all started when i got to the hardware shop half an hour before they opened and for the sake of something to do i went in to the supermarket next door for some bananas. Well the bakery counter had just baked the morning pastries and they were on offer at 3 for a pound so i bought and ate 3 of them. Just under 1800 calories !
Because i don't really have a sweet tooth i then went to my friends sandwich shop and had a sausage sandwich !
That is my days calories before 9 am !
Anyway lunch was a double decker chocolate bar and 3 packets of crisps.
I worked really hard so by the time i got home i was hungry and my wife cooked cheese and tomatoes on toast with salad.

Yes that is second and third helpings !
Late on for supper i had a bowl of grapes and strawberries but i don't think they really make up for all the rubbish i have eaten earlier in the day.

Thursday fast

Well after yesterday's blow out tea i thought i better curb my enthusiasm today and try and eat a little less.
Breakfast was half a glass of orange juice.
Then all i had was water until tea time.
For tea i oven baked some chicken breasts with garlic and lemon juice and they were served with pasta and fresh salad.
Plenty of mayo and salt, pepper and vinegar and the meal was complete.
So nice i had second helpings !
After that i had half a large dairy milk chocolate bar.

Wednesday burgers

Well today wasn't the day i was hoping for.
I had 4 slices of marmite on toast for breakfast and then a couple of bags of crisps and a pasty for lunch.
I then went fishing and the wind was stronger than i thought and the fishing wasn't too great either.

Better news when i got home. My wife had prepared 4 big juicy 1/4 pound burgers with fried onions, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, and mayo and ketchup !
What a feast.
I managed all 4 and they were on my favourite crusty cob's from sainsbury's.
Beautiful !
